Same destination number can be routed differently base on the calling party number on Sky DANCE platform. For instance, if we want to make the extensions with the following restrictions:

Extension 1002 not allowed to call cellphone networks Extension 1003 not allowed to call cellphone and international numbers Extension 1004 only allowed to call local numbers

Steps for this configuration as described below:

1) From Sky Routing GUI, click on Partitions and add 3 new partitions: a: let’s say use partition 100 to restrict cellphone calls b: partition 101 to restrict cellphone and international calls c: partition 102 for local network screening

2) In the called translations table, for partition 100, list all the cellphone numbers which you do not want the calls to pass through in the Dialed Number field. In the Route Type field, You can select Announcement or Release Cause and enter the an announcement ID or release cause code in the Route List field. Add a wildcard entry to route all the other calls (none cellphone calls) and set the Route Type to Forward Partition with partition number (where the calls can be routed) in the Route List field.

3) In the called translations table for partition 101, list all the cellular and international numbers which you do not want the calls to pass through in the Dialed Number field. In the Route Type field, select Announcement or Release Cause and enter the announcement ID or release cause code in the Route List field.

Wildcard can be used for the dialed number field. For instance, if you want to drop all the calls which starts with 00 or 011, in the Dialed Number field you can have 00* or 011*.

Add a wildcard entry (*) to route all the other calls (cellular and international) and set the Route Type to Forward Partition with partition number 100 (to check for cellphone calls)

4) In the called translations table for partition 102, list all the Telecam numbers in the Dialed Number field. Select Forward Partition in the Route Type field. For the Route List field, enter the partition where Telecam calls can be routed.

Create wildcard (*) entry in the 102 partition and select Announcement or Release Cause code in the Route Type field and enter the an announcement ID or release cause code in the Route List field.

5) In the Calling Pre Translations table, add the calling party number which the call restriction should be applied in the Dialed Number field and enter the Fw.Partition according to the partitions where the call restrictions should be examined.
