Physical layer configuration

Depending on the type of connection their are one or more parts to physical layer configuration:

1. Decide on the physical connections that will be used for voice connections.

   The following are supported:
   a) E1/T1
   b) IP

2.  Configure the spans

If you have SS7 you will also have to

1.  Configure the originating point code
2.  Configure the links
3.  Configure the linksets
4.  Configure the routes
